Random Cacti

One thing that I love about living in Arizona is the cactus that grow here.  The saguaros are amazing and come in so many different shapes and sizes.  If I see a cool looking one and I have my camera I'll take a picture.  This past weekend we went to the White Tank Mountains reserve area and there were some really neat ones.  (On a side note, if you go walking out here wear more than sandals.  O stepped on something really sharp and to this day she will point to a picture of a porcupine and tell you that it is what gave her an "owie".)
I also tried to get a panorama type shot looking off toward the city and this was the best I could do:
I found this cactus at a resort John and I stayed at a couple of years ago.  Pretty interesting.
And one more of my hubby!

See, I hate cactus. Cactuses. Cacti. I even wrote a post about three years ago about why I hate them so much. I think they are creepy when they bloom - bursting out of the sides of the cactus like the Alien did in . . . .Alien. Ewwwwww.
