Congratulations to one of my best friends, Sara, and her husband Matt (and daughter Mia)! Sara gave birth to Yates Matthew on Thursday, May 13. He was 7 lb. 13 oz (and about 3 weeks early - a big boy!).
It had been a long time time coming because poor Sara had been having fairly regular contractions for about a month before Yates was born. In fact, she was admitted to the hospital on the 4th because they were two minutes apart but was released the following day and finally induced on the 13th. She was ready, that is for sure!
He is healthy and they are both now home and doing well! I can't wait to meet him!
